On 20/04/2021, the 3rd National Meeting of the Exchange of Experiences and Good Practices in the Bear Population Management was implemented via Webex in the framework of Action C.2 of the LIFE AMYBEAR project. The meeting was organised by the Decentralised Administration of Epirus-Western Macedonia in collaboration with the Management Body of Rodopi Mountain-Range National Park. The topics that were mainly discussed were the following:

• Management of bear approaching incidents in residential areas
• Emergency Response Teams, Problems and prospects
• Poison baits, ways to handling them

This event was attended by LEVER SA company and the environmental Organisation “Callisto” representatives, as well as members from Directorates of Forests, Forestry, Prespa National Park Management Body, Society for the Protection of Prespa, the Hunting Federation “KOMAΘ”, the environmental service of the Region of Western Macedonia, etc.
